Nearly every skincare range now has a serum. What are they and do you need them?
A serum has a higher content of active ingredients compared to a moisturiser and is usually a more fluid consistency. This is because the molecular structure needs to be smaller to get deeper into the skin unlike a moisturiser that is needed to sit on the skin. They are more of a treatment for your skin, giving it a boost of nutrients. They are used under a moisturiser day and/or night. We recommend the use of a serum for problem skins, anti-aging, skin brightening, hydrating and break out prevention.
A good investment when you feel your skin needs a boost. Great after illness, flying and sun exposure as well as change of season.
Our favourites are from our Dibi Italian skincare range. Whitening Serum in the Age Repair range, Rehydration Serum in the Hydra range, T-Matte Serum in the Impure range, Intensive Serum in the Lifting range and Anti-Pollution in the Sensitive range.
